Ben Affleck's greatest achievement in life has nothing to do with
nabbing the award for Best Picture at the Oscars on Sunday, Feb. 24.
According to the 40-year-old director, star and producer of Argo, his
proudest accomplishment is finding a soulmate in Jennifer Garner.
After
thanking the Odd Life of Timothy Green actress during the ABC
broadcast, the two-time Oscar winner spoke to Access Hollywood about how
much Garner, 40, means to him.
"All marriages, all
relationships to a certain extent, require your work. They require work
and investment," Affleck said, riffing off his heartfelt, off-the-cuff
acceptance speech. "We work on it together, we try our best. Nobody's
perfect. I would be lying to you if I said that either she or I were.
She's more perfect than I am, I can tell you that."
The
filmmaker continued, "We do our best. She's committed. She's as
committed as I am. We work together, and we have three great kids."
